Prevent Winter Faucet Damage: Drain & Shut Off Tips

Did early winter catch you off guard?

It's not too late to drain and shut off your outside faucets!

Freezing and thawing can cause your faucet and/or water lines to crack and leak water inside your home causing damage.

Shut the water off at the inside shut off valve, undo drain cap. Disconnect your hose then turn tap on outside to drain. Even if you have a frost free hose bib you should still disconnect the hose.
